WEATHER BLOG: A New Front Is On Its Way

It was a very typical fall day outside.  We topped out at the average of 66 degrees, after starting out in the 40s.  Sunshine really helped to show off all the colors starting to pop on the trees.  We haven't hit our peak color yet, but it's coming in the next week or two.

Overall, we have got a nice forecast coming your way into early next week.  The one hiccup is a new front moving our way Thursday. Clouds will take over, and then showers or even some gusty thunderstorms could break out late Thursday.

Scattered showers will linger into the first half of Friday before this front gets out of here.  Temperatures will not drop much Thursday night with the front passing through, only into the upper 50s.

That will help us warm to near 70 degrees again Friday before cooler air follows the front just in time for the weekend.  As of now, it looks like we dry out and cool down to the mid 60s this weekend.
