TOWSON, Md. (AP) — A Lansdowne man has been convicted of killing a teenager in a shooting two years ago.

Sterlin Matthews, 19, was convicted Thursday of second-degree murder, assault and a handgun offense. He will be sentenced Jan. 10.

Prosecutors say Matthews killed Dequan Burks, 16, and injured two others in a shooting Oct. 31, 2010 in Halethorpe.
