WEATHER BLOG: Rebounding

We will have a few breaks in the clouds for some limited sunshine throughout the afternoon, but it will remain chilly
and breezy. The overall chilly pattern will continue through the weekend and into next week. The good news is dry weather is expected to prevail as well, outside of a spotty shower Friday afternoon.

All eyes will be on the potential coastal storm during the middle of next week and its potential impacts on our region, as well as many of the areas hit hard by Sandy.

There should be partial clearing Friday night and it will be very chilly. Saturday, there's going to be a more well-aligned
flow of air. Since winds from the surface will be primarily out of the northwest, there should be a decent amount of energy that will be cascading down to the surface from above the boundary layer. So, we should see winds gusting to 25 mph Saturday afternoon, and these will subside early Saturday night. Sunday's going to be an even chillier day, even despite a fair amount of sunshine. Most temperatures during the morning will be in the upper 30s, with afternoon temperatures barely returning to 50 in most cases.

Have a great day!
