Council To Meet On Drug Prevention, Education

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) — The Montgomery County Council will be holding meeting on drug prevention, intervention and education programs in county schools.

The meeting of three different committees is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in Rockville on Thursday.

At an April meeting, officers from the county police department reported that certain areas of the county have seen increased use of illegal drugs, as well as an increase in abuse of prescription drugs.
