Woman Dead After Deer Hits Car In Cockeysville

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — A Baltimore County woman is killed when a deer hits her car.

Police say 62-year-old Suzanne Selby was driving on Beaver Dam Road in Cockeysville, when a deer ran into traffic. It struck the driver’s side of Selby’s car–causing her to lose control. She smashed into a light pole and died a short time later.

The deer was seriously hurt in the crash, and had to be put down by police.

The accident is still being investigated.
