House Fire Causes $350,000 In Damage

SEVERN, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County firefighters say a blaze in a Severn home has caused $350,000 in damage.

The fire was reported about 1 a.m. Monday on Wild Willow Way. Firefighters found the home engulfed in flames.

The Capital of Annapolis reports that a smoke alarm awoke the two adults and one child in the house, and they escaped.

It took 70 firefighters around an hour and a half to get the blaze under control. There were no injuries.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
