Police Investigating Death Of Man Found In Woods

OLDTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a wooded area in Allegany County.

Maryland State Police said Monday they are working with the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit.

The body was found Saturday by hunters in a remote area near Oldtown.

Police say the cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.

State police say nothing has been ruled out, and all possibilities are being considered by police investigators.

Police say forensic tests are continuing at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore to verify the identity of the man.
