Former Montgomery County Executive Plans To Run

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- A newspaper is reporting that former Montgomery County Executive Douglas Duncan has told supporters he plans to run again for the job.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday that Duncan told supporters about his plan to run again during a gathering of about 50 to 100 business leaders in Gaithersburg on Tuesday.

It would be Duncan's fourth term in the position. He held the office from 1994 to 2006.

Duncan, who is 57, abruptly dropped his bid for governor six years ago after being diagnosed with depression.
