Police Investigating Silver Spring Fatal Shooting

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County police are investigating the shooting death of a 21-year-old man in Silver Spring.

Police say they were called to an apartment in the 11400-block of July Drive around 3:45 p.m. Friday for a report of a shooting. Police on Saturday identified the man they found dead in his apartment as Jesse Patrick Campos.

Police are looking for two suspects seen leaving the scene. Police say the two men were able to enter the apartment by accosting a roommate of Campos’ outside and forcing him to open the door. The roommate and an adult woman in the apartment at the time of the shooting were not injured.
