Rain is on the way.
A new storm is already making its way across Maryland. Rain and drizzle started this afternoon across the western half of the state, and that will overspread the state Saturday night. This storm will will move through in a few different parts. Part one will keep some rain and drizzle around tomorrow, possibly even during the Ravens game. Then part two will bring another round of rain Monday into Tuesday morning. We are still running a rainfall deficit on the year. It’s currently at -5.61″.
Meanwhile, temperatures continue to run above average. We topped out at 51 degrees Saturday and will be right near that again Sunday. Temperatures will actually get even higher, in the mid then upper 50s Monday and Tuesday before dropping back. But even when they do drop, they will be closer to normal – which is down to 45 degrees.
Another round of rain could move our way Friday, followed by a shot of much colder air next week. We will keep you updated on that.
