MCHENRY, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police are reporting light, blowing snow in Garrett County as a winter storm moves in.

The National Weather Service says the mountainous county in far western Maryland could get 12 to 20 inches by Saturday night.

Icy conditions on Interstate 68 forced some partial closures of the highway Thursday afternoon.
