ABINGDON, Md. (WJZ)—It’s almost here. Ravens playoffs tickets go on sale this Friday, and the excitement is palpable.

Christie Ileto has more on how Ravens fans are already snatching up gear for a purple postseason.

Playoffs fever is sweeping Ravens nation.

What color do your bleed?

“Purple,” shouted Tim Adele, “definitely not black and gold.”

At Poor Boys in Abingdon, Ravens fans are snatching up anything purple and black.

“I got a little jacket,” a fan said.

Adele is scoping out a good luck charm.

“You always have to have a winning shirt, and once it loses you have to recycle that shirt out,” Adele said.

This season, the Ravens have not only clinched the AFC North title but also a spot in the playoffs.

“I’m a big Ravens fan. My house is full of Ravens stuff. My yard is full of Ravens stuff, and now I’m full of Ravens stuff too,” said Michelle Stichion.

“Today we’ll be getting all the division shirts in and all that,” said Michael Tyson, Poor Boys owner.

And aside from the playoff shirts, Poor Boys says fans are looking to get Ravens coats, hats and jerseys.

“It’s going to be crazy from here on out, that’s for sure,” Tyson said.

Ravens playoffs tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., and they’re expected to go fast!

And fans say no matter where they’re watching the Ravens, they’ll be bleeding purple.

“I think we’re going to have a winner,” a fan said.
