Traffic Bottleneck Coming To Patapsco River Bridge
CATONSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- The State Highway Administration is warning motorists about an impending bottleneck on the U.S. 40 bridge over the Patapsco River near Catonsville.
The agency says it plans to reduce westbound traffic from two lanes to one starting Thursday. The right lane will remain closed for several months as part of a bridge construction project.
The SHA says westbound motorists will experience delays on U.S. 40 between the Baltimore Beltway and U.S. 29. It is strongly recommending that drivers consider using Interstate 70 or Frederick Road instead.
