"Ray had talked privately about he can't keep doing this to his kid and there's going to be a time that he needs to walk away...and he mentioned to a couple of us: I'll always want to play and I'll always believe I can play at a high level just with more training. I think when he got that opportunity to go spend time with his children when he was hurt. It reminded him and he promised his kids...He told them this is gonna be my last season, after this I'm dad - full time."
