ARBUTUS, Md. (WJZ) — A multi-car accident is backing up traffic on the outer loop of I-695 near I-95.

Captain Jeff Long has more.

It occurred just before 5 p.m. at Wilkens Avenue.

All lanes were closed for about 20 minutes and now all are reopen.

The roof of one of the cars came off during the wreck.

The Baltimore County Fire Department and several ambulances are on the scene.

One person was taken to Shock Trauma and is currently in serious condition.
