NEW ORLEANS (CBS SF) — Super Bowl advertisers are no longer keeping television spots a secret until the Big Game. Instead, they’re releasing online snippets of their ads or longer video trailers that allude to the action in the Game Day spot.
Here’s a dozen of our favorites to take a look at online before Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday:
Mercedes-Benz: In a spot that has gotten 5.4 million views already on Youtube, supermodel Kate Upton wears a low-cut tank top as she oversees football players washing her car.
Toyota: “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco grants wishes to a peppy song in the teaser for Toyota’s spot.
Taco Bell: The company’s teaser shows an elderly man, who is also the star of its Game Day ad, doing wheelies in a scooter on a football field.
Go Daddy: Go Daddy has released an ad that is about putting your idea online first. It is a funny ad that is actually not playing the sexy card.
Doritos: A fan submitted homemade-commercial features a father whose daughter bribes him with a bag of Doritos to turn down hanging with the guys and play pretty princess instead.
Kia: This automaker’s Super Bowl 2013 Ad is entitled “Space Babies” – featuring a nervous father who tries to answer the question: “Where do babies come from?”
