Baltimore Restaurants & Grocery Stores 'Going All The Way' For Super Bowl XLVII

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Wings, beer and commercials. That's your typical recipe for a Super Bowl party.

But as Christie Ileto explains, some Baltimore restaurants and grocery stores are cooking up some Ravens inspired food for Sunday.

Ravens fans are getting their menus ready for Sunday's Super Bowl.

"It's just strictly junk food this time," Annette Crawford said.

Annette Crawford is combing the aisles for her MVP's number one snacks.

Ileto: "What is in your cart right now?"
Crawford: "Some of my husband's favorites, potato chips."

At Giant, Ravens fans are snatching desserts, veggie trays and seafood platters.

"When the Ravens are in the Super Bowl people are going to eat," said manager Vicki Coyne.

It's also a big moneymaker for Attman's Deli.

"Last year, we sold 2,000 pounds. This year we're gearing up for 3,000," said Marc Attman.

And that's just corn beef! Their signature sandwich--the Lombard Trophy--is a winner among Ravens fans too.

"Five or six guys can eat that!" Attman said.

If you're looking to have a Baltimore themed Super Bowl party, you might want to consider making the blue crab dip. It has onions, ground pepper, lemon juice and of course, crab meat.

At Wine World in Abingdon, they're mixing up Ravens inspired drinks for game day.

"The Purple Yummy Ravenator," said Michael Cullison.

Ileto: "How did you come up with these names? These are some really interesting names."
Cullison: "Well, we tasted it and the first response was 'Oh, yummy!'"

The staff has four special mixes to celebrate each touchdown Joe Flacco throws, but get your menus started soon. Stores expect larger flocks of Ravens fans to be stocking up this weekend.

And with all that food that's being served on Sunday, many Ravens fans will be celebrating their win on Monday at the gym.
