DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — Patrick Konan recorded a double-double, including 22 points, to lead New Hampshire to a 92-86 overtime victory over Maryland-Baltimore County Wednesday night.

The Wildcats (7-16, 3-8 America East) avenged a 68-57 loss to UMBC (6-19, 4-8) on Jan. 9.

New Hampshire, trailing 43-33 at halftime, mounted a comeback. Down 60-55, the Wildcats got a trey from Scott Morris (13 points), then four straight points by Chandler Rhoads (20 points) to lead 62-60.

Konan later hit a free throw, then a 3-pointer for a 71-67 lead. But UMBC’s Brian Neller (19 points) would later hit a trey at the end of regulation to tie it 74-74.

In overtime, with the Wildcats leading 86-83 inside the final minute, Ferg Myrick — who had a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double — went 4-for-4 at the stripe. Konan hit two more with 0:04 left to clinch it.

The Wildcats outscored UMBC 42-24 in the paint.
