BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Orioles have a new vice president of baseball operations.

O’s Hall of Famer Brady Anderson was promoted Tuesday.

He previously held the title of special assistant to the director of baseball operations.

Anderson ranks among the top 10 batters in Oriole history. He’s also one of the only players in the MLB to hit 50 home runs in a season (50 in 1996) and steal 50 bases in a season (53 in 1992).
