BALTIMORE (AP) — A man has been convicted of raping a 13-year-old girl in a vacant house in East Baltimore.
A Baltimore City Circuit Court jury on Tuesday convicted Alvin Ray Wright Sr., 49, of first-degree rape and other offenses.
Prosecutors say on Oct. 17, the victim was walking on North Caroline Street when Wright grabbed her from behind, pulled her into a nearby house and raped her.
Wright faces six life terms plus 25 years in prison at sentencing May 15.
