Man On 'America's Most Wanted' Pleads, Could Get 50 Years For Child Porn

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Washington County prosecutors are seeking a 50-year sentence for a man who was featured on "America's Most Wanted" after fleeing from child pornography charges in Maryland.

The Herald-Mail newspaper of Hagerstown reports Robert Mulkern, 46, pleaded guilty Monday to manufacturing child porn, sex abuse of a minor and third-degree sex offense.

The charges stem from Mulkern's relationship with a 15-year-old girl he met after she was placed in a foster home in Hagerstown in 2009. Mulkern lived in the basement.

Investigators found a camera containing photos of the girl having sex with Mulkern, and also with another man.

Mulkern failed to appear for trial in September 2010. He was arrested in November 2012 in Windsor, Vt., after he was featured on the Fox TV show, "America's Most Wanted."
