WEATHER BLOG: Mild Weekend

There is still some light snow currently falling in much of Delaware. The steady stuff should not get further west than that but there could be a few spotty rain or snow showers elsewhere.

While there are parts of the Northeast and even sections of the Greater Philadelphia area that are getting some snowfall, we do not need to worry about any of this occurring in the greater Baltimore area Friday. A trough of low pressure which is extending westward from that very menacing area of low pressure is enhancing the snow to our north and east. But we should just be dealing with some clouds and wind as temperatures reach the mid to upper 40s and near 50.

We should have a chilly night ahead, but the sky should start to clear, and some milder weather is in store for the upcoming weekend as a ridge of high pressure builds in the Eastern Region. Temperatures, for the most part, will be in the mid 50s Saturday and then the upper 50s on Sunday. It will be even warmer early next week, but there may also be some rain to contend with, especially on Monday night into Tuesday.

Have a good weekend!!!
