Anne Arundel Co. HS Student Charged With Intent To Distribute Drugs On School Grounds

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)—An Anne Arundel County high school student is facing serious charges after he’s caught with drugs on a school bus.

Police say a bus driver contacted a school resource officer after detecting a strong odor of marijuana.

They searched 18-year-old Luis Ruiz, of Annapolis, and found several packages of the suspected drug.

He’s charged as an adult with possession and intent to distribute on school grounds.
