2 Women, 1 Man Dead In West Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --  Baltimore City Police are investigating a triple fatal shooting across from an elementary school.

Christie Ileto reports.

It happened around 9 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200-block of North Fulton Avenue.

Police say two women and one man were shot in a home. They were identified as Brian Powell, Kishawana Pinder and Tyreka Martin.

Residents say it's incredibly alarming that it happened across from an elementary school.

"I see the tape start to come out. The next thing I know they were hauling people out," said Gerald Winter, resident. "There were working on some of them. Ambulances are pulling up."

"All of the shell cases and projectiles are within the house. All of the victims went to neighboring hospitals. All have been pronounced deceased at this time," said Deputy Comm.  John Skinner, Baltimore City Police.

Police say it's unclear if the victims knew the suspect, but say there were no signs of forced entry into the house.

"The violence in the Western District is alarming right now for us.  We will be shifting resources over here to stabilize this district," said Col. Garnell Green, Chief Neighborhood Patrol Division.

Baltimore Police say they are looking for a man, possibly with a gunshot wound to the left leg.

If you see him or have any information about the shooting, you are asked to call 911.
