Driver Charged With Homicide By Motor Vehicle

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- A driver in a two-car crash that killed two men in Glenn Dale has been charged with two counts of homicide by motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol.

Prince George's County police say Ramon Anaya-Ascencio, 35, of no fixed address has also been charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter.

Officers say 46-year-old Leo Castro and 30-year-old Jose Rodrigeuez, both of Lanham, were fatally injured Monday morning. They were riding in a car that police say was driven by Anaya-Ascencio when it crossed in front of another car and was struck on the passenger side.

Anaya-Ascencio is being held on $200,000 bond.
