Jeremy Conn: AL Predictions
I think its going to be a really fun and exciting baseball season. Especially in AL East, where it seems like there are a lot of equal teams. In the National league it looks like there are a lot of evenly matched teams as well. In the American League it looks like there are some stacked teams offensively and in the National League, teams are stock piled with pitching. Here are my playoff teams in each, followed up by my ALS Champ.
AL East.. I have the Orioles winning the division by a slim margin and the Blue Jays getting the Wild Card.
AL Central.. The Tigers will run away with the division, but I believe Kansas City will surprise everybody this year and be in the hunt for a Wild Card.
AL West.. I have the Angels winning the division with the best record in the League. Also i think the Texas Rangers will get that last Wild Card spot.
ALCS... I have Angels beating the Blue Jays in 6 games.
Cy Young Winner.. I'm going out on a limb and picking Chris Sale. He has a filthy delivery and will only get better as the year progresses.
MVP.. It's hard to go against Mike Trout. Many people are projecting him to be a 50-50 guy. I think his stiffest competition will be from Jose Bautista.
Manager of the year.. BUCK... I like our guys.
