Orioles GM Dan Duquette Talking Opening Day

Baltimore Orioles GM Dan Duquette joined Ed & Steve to talk about this years team on opening day.

Steve asked Dan Duquette for an update on Brian Roberts. Dan said Brian has a hamstring strain and he should be ok, though he'll probably end up on the disabled list.

Ed asked Duquette about Tillman playing and possible roster moves. Dan said they may just carry 13 pitchers and keep Tillman and the current roster.

Ed asked Dan Duquette how good is Chris Davis. Dan said that Chris is off to a great start, especially at the plate. Dan also talked about how hard Chris has worked in the field so he can become a complete everyday ball player.

Steve asked Dan about TJ McFarland and if Buck will be able to find a spot to pitch him on a regular basis. Dan said they're going to use him in long relief situations and let him come up from there as he is only 23 years old.

Ed asked Dan about Adam Jones's hot start and if he is becoming an elite player in the MLB. Dan said he was an elite player last year, and he continues to get better and better so he is already elite.
