Report Of Shooting On Towson University's Campus Was A False Alarm
TOWSON, Md. (WJZ/AP) -- Towson University officials and Baltimore County Police say a report of a shooting on campus was unfounded.
Police investigated and are labeling the incident -- reportedly at a garage -- a false alarm.
Cpl. Cathy Batton says the department received only one call about a shooting, but no victims were found.
The university initially urged students to take shelter amid what it called an "unverified" report of a shooting, but lifted its warning 10 minutes later
