2 Shot In Exchange With Police, No Officers Hurt
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Authorities say two people were shot during an exchange of gunfire with police officers in West Baltimore, but no officers were injured.
Two officers were patrolling on foot Monday night in the 2700-block of Edmondson Avenue around 10 p.m. when police say they heard and saw shots coming from a car with several people inside and fired back at the car. Police say two people in the car were shot and were taken to Shock Trauma.
No officers involved were hit. Homicide detectives were called to the scene, as is routine in all shootings that involve police officers.
