WASHINGTON (AP) -- The four-day Smithsonian Craft Show is scheduled to begin Thursday.

The show is produced by the Smithsonian Women's Committee to support education, outreach, conservation and research at the Smithsonian.

Officials say that more than 100 craft artists, 44 of whom are new to the show, will display one-of-a-kind and limited edition works.

The crafts are expected to span 11 media, including furniture, basketry, wood and wearable art.

The show titled, Celebrating the Creative Spirit of America, will be held at the National Museum Building.
