BALTIMORE (WJZ)—The NFL Draft is underway and Ravens fans are eager to watch who will be a part of the championship team. M&T Bank Stadium opened its gates to welcome the fans to celebrate the up-and-coming season.

Thousands of Ravens fans are not only celebrating picks in the NFL Draft, but also going beyond for an up-close-and-personal experience.

It’s not football season quite yet but Ravens fans are ready.

“I attend every Ravens home game. They’re our team, gotta support our team,” said John.

Thousands brought their black and purple pride to M&T Bank Stadium for the Ravens Spring Football Festival.

“It’s the Ravens way of celebrating the 2013 Draft,” a fan said.

For just $20, fans are hoping to get the autographs of their favorite players.

“Torrey Smith if he’s here and Ray Rice,” a fan said.

The best part of the day for many is being on the field of champions.

“This is the best. This is my first time actually on the field. We got to take pictures in the locker room. It’s exciting here today,” one woman said.

Fans say while they lost some great players this year, they’re confident the Ravens will bring home the Lombardi again.

“Just gotta believe in our man Ozzie. He’s never let us down yet,” a fan said.

The Ravens’ first preseason game is Aug. 8.
