North Carolina Teen Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Maryland Man
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Police say a teen has been arrested in the stabbing death of a Maryland man in North Carolina.
Asheville police were called to a downtown city street shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday.
Police say 35-year-old Travis Schoon of Bowie, Md., was stabbed in the chest and died at Mission Hospital a short time later.
Police said Monday morning that a 16-year-old turned himself in to officers and has been charged with second-degree murder and assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to kill.
