Affordable Housing Summit Set For Bethesda
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County's 22nd annual Affordable Housing Summit is happening this week.
Rep. Christopher Van Hollen is scheduled to speak at the event in Bethesda on Friday.
He is scheduled to talk about the importance of affordable housing options in Montgomery County and the damaging impacts federal budget cuts have had on the affordable housing community.
This year's conference is focusing on programs aimed at reinvigorating local and regional affordable housing and community development efforts since the housing bubble collapse.
