WEATHER BLOG: Storms Ahead
High pressure will continue to bring us a southerly wind flow bringing us warmer air from the south. This added warmth will set Wednesday up to be the warmest day of the week. Temps will soar into the upper 80s for many by Wednesday afternoon. Along with the warmth, we also have humid conditions, so afternoon and evening thunderstorms are possible through Thursday with Thursday forecast to be a more "active" day. A cold front will be the triggering mechanism for any thunderstorm activity and it will pass through Thursday night into Friday. Cooler, but sunny conditions are expected for your Memorial Day weekend with temps around 70.
