Worker Killed In Md. Garage Collapse Identified

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police have released the name of a construction worker who was killed when a parking garage partially collapsed.

Police say 57-year-old Carroll Dexter Wills, of Prince Frederick, died Thursday afternoon after being trapped beneath a fallen 50,000-pound concrete slab at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.

Another worker who was pinned for hours was rescued but was seriously injured.

The cause of the garage collapse is still being investigated.
