Amtrak Says Service Unaffected By Md. Derailment

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- An Amtrak spokeswoman says its Northeast Corridor service is not being affected by a freight train accident and explosion near Baltimore.

A CSX train crashed into a trash truck Tuesday afternoon in White Marsh, Md. The subsequent derailment led to an explosion that collapsed nearby buildings.

White Marsh is about 10 miles from Baltimore.
