Man Charged With Murder In Hagerstown Death
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A Hagerstown man has been charged with killing a man whose body was found in the woods.
Hagerstown police said Sunday that 38-year-old David Allen Miller has been charged with first-degree murder and first- and second-degree assault.
He was charged after a man was found dead Saturday evening in a wooded area off West Antietam Street with severe blunt-force trauma to the head. An autopsy is being done.
The Herald-Mail reports that Miller is accused of fatally assaulting the victim as the two were drinking earlier in the day.
It wasn't immediately clear if Miller had a lawyer, and a phone message left at a listing for him wasn't immediately returned Sunday.
