Raven Bernard Pierce Robbed At Gunpoint In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (WJZ) — Baltimore Raven Bernard Pierce was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening in Philadelphia. His BMW was also stolen.
Pierce and a friend weren't injured during the robbery. According to sources, a gunman jumped from a car and robbed Pierce and the friend, then stole Pierce's car. An accomplice was behind the wheel of the suspect's car.
Pierce's car was recovered later in another part of the city. Police have gone over the car looking for any clues.
In a statement, The Ravens organization said, "We have been in contact with Bernard and we are aware of the situation."
Pierce's agent did not respond to requests for comment.
No arrests have been made.
