80 Laptops Stolen From Frostburg State University
FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) -- Authorities in Allegany County say 80 laptops worth more than $35,000 were stolen from Frostburg State University.
The Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit says the computers were stolen from the Guild Center earlier this month.
The Cumberland Times-News reports that someone entered several private offices and classrooms on June 4 or June 5 and stole 79 Hewitt-Packard Mini 101 laptops and one Apple MacBook Pro.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Allegany and Mineral County Crime Solvers at 301-722-4300.
A reward of up to $1,500 is offered by Crime Solvers for information leading to an arrest in the case.
