PERRY HALL, Md. (WJZ) — People living in one Perry Hall apartment complex are forced to evacuate after a transformer explodes.

The explosion caused a fire that spread to a nearby car and bushes.

It also created high levels of carbon monoxide in the apartment building, leading to the evacuation.

The fire went to two alarms.

Dozens of homes lost power, but we’re told it should be restored sometime Thursday night.
