We expect a hot and humid afternoon with a mixture of clouds and sunshine.

The combination of the heat and humidity will make it uncomfortable for people outdoors, especially anyone in the sunshine or doing manual labor.

It looks like we will remain dry with any thunderstorms being limited to the higher terrain well off to the west, leaving us with good viewing conditions for any firework shows.

Unfortunately for most, this hot and humid air will continue right into next week, and for that matter much of next week.

Largely dry weather is expected as well during this stretch; however, over the weekend there can again be a stray afternoon or evening thunderstorm.

Have a great rest of your holiday!
