Suspect In Delmar Fatal Shooting Arrested

DELMAR, Md. (AP) — Authorities in Wicomico County have arrested a man wanted in a fatal shooting in Delmar.

Wicomico Bureau of Investigation detectives say 29-year-old Eddie Savage Jr. was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree murder and related offenses.

Investigators say Savage shot 48-year-old Kenneth Sparks of Hurlock in the face after an argument Sunday night in a driveway on Foskey Lane. Sparks was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Savage is being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center pending an initial hearing before a District Court commissioner expected Tuesday.
