Thursday on the show, we asked the listeners an interesting question. Who is the Face of Baltimore Sports?

The only requirement is that is has to be an active athlete.

So, it can’t be Ray Lewis. Obviously, he was the face of Baltimore sports a year ago, and for the years since Cal retired.

I said Flacco, Ed said Harbaugh.

I said Joe because I thought he was the MVP of the Super Bowl, and if all the Ravens were lining up, he’d be the one to get the most autograph requests.

Ed thought Harbaugh because of his looks and charisma over Joe’s.

However, both of us thought the options were wide open. Other choices, in our minds, Buck, Jones and Rice, and to a lesser degree Suggs, Machado and Davis.

As it turns out, by the time we had signed off, Joe was running away it. He had about 41% of the vote. Second was Buck at 18%, Jones, 16% and Rice at 12%. Picking up the rear, Harbaugh 8% (which really surprised me that he was that low), then Machado, Davis and Suggs splitting the remainder.
