Man Dies After Fall From Md. Radio Cell Phone Tower

VIENNA, Md. (AP) — The Maryland State Police say a man has died after falling from a radio cell phone tower he was working on.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports 41-year-old Michael Frontiero Cortes of Puerto Rico died Thursday. The paper says he was a tower engineer for the Puerto Rican company Konet.

Police say it is believed he fell 180 to 250 feet and that the fall is believed to be accidental. The tower is located at 4822 Old Ocean Gateway in Vienna.

Police say the incident is under investigation.
