Mass. Man Wanted In Las Vegas Arrested In Md.

GRANTSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- State police say a Massachusetts man accused of assaulting a man at a hotel in Grantsville is also wanted on a warrant for assault in Las Vegas.

Michael O'Brien, 36, of Middleborough, Mass., was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Casselman Inn.

Police say O'Brien was fighting with another man. He's been charged with one count of second-degree assault and one count of malicious destruction of property for damage to the hotel.

The other man suffered minor injuries and did not need medical aid. O'Brien is awaiting a bond review. Police say the Las Vegas Police Department has a warrant out on him for assault.
