BROOKLYN, Md. (WJZ) — Police have arrested three teens for the assault of a man in Brooklyn.

Police say it happened around 5 p.m. Sunday in  the area of Heritage Hill Drive and Polk Circle.

Police say a 43-year-old man told them he was jumped by a group of males and his clothes were stolen.

Police say after a brief verbal exchange, the group of five male suspects began punching and kicking the victim, knocking him to the ground. During the course of the assault, some of the suspects took the victim’s clothes from his body and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Officers located a group of males in the block of 6400-block of Freedom Way, who were positively identified by the victim as some of the suspects involved in the robbery. Three teens from Glen Burnie were taken into custody. They were charged on juvenile citations with robbery, assault, and reckless endangerment. They were released to their guardians.

Anyone with information on the additional suspects is urged to call Northern District Police at 410-222-6135.
