WEATHER BLOG: Rain Moves In

#mdwx: Rain continues to push into the region and will get heavier in spots as the night goes on. We will begin to dry out from west to east overnight with rain finally pushing out of the metro around 3 a.m. High pressure will build into the region Sunday, ushering dry and comfortable air. There is a chance for a lingering shower in the morning, mainly for the Eastern Shore, with the majority of the day being dry along with decreasing clouds. It will be breezy Sunday with winds sustained at 10-20 mph and gusts as high as 30 mph.

Looking ahead to the start of the next week, high pressure will remain in control and the only thing that looks to change from day-to-day will be the high and low temps.
