WEATHER BLOG: Last September Sunday
High pressure early Sunday morning is situated off the New England coast, just south of Nova Scotia. It is a rather large area of high pressure, which has wedged itself along the central and southern Appalachians.
Skies were broken much of the day Saturday, but clouds are patchy at this time. Based on the drier air in place at 5,000-6,000 feet, and satellite trends, we can call it mostly sunny Sunday. In general, it will be a beautiful weather day to round out the weekend and temperatures will be in the 70s.
