BARCStoberfest Proceeds Help Shelter Homeless Animals

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Runners and walkers hit Patterson Park Saturday along with their four-legged friends.

The event, BARCStoberfest, benefits the Baltimore Animal Rescue Care Shelter.

All proceeds help those homeless animals find new families.

After the 5K run or one-mile walk, participants enjoyed food and entertainment.

Plus, there were pet contests and exhibits.
