Harford County Delegate Won't Seek Re-Election

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Del. Donna Stifler says she is not running for re-election.

Stifler cited health reasons in her announcement on Thursday. The Harford County Republican says she missed some time during the last legislative session due to her ongoing battle against fibromyalgia.

Stifler is finishing her seventh year in the House of Delegates. She says she will continue serving in the upcoming legislative session, which begins in January.
